Chirchiq Technopark Attracts US$100 Million in Investment, Creates 798 Jobs

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The chemical-industrial Chirchiq Technopark, established by JSC “Uzkimyosanoat” in Tashkent Region, has so far developed infrastructure worth US$25 million, including 75,600 sq.m of production facilities and 8,200 sq.m of administrative buildings on a 27.1-hectare site.

The technopark hosts 25 investment projects involving residents from various countries.

The total investments from residents have reached US$100 million, with products worth 954 billion soums produced, exports totaling US$26 million, 798 new jobs created, and 75 billion soums collected in taxes.

In 2025 alone, eight projects worth US$36.5 million were launched, creating 312 new jobs.

For 2026, five new investment projects worth a total of US$40 million are planned, which will increase total investments to US$140 million, produce products worth 1,019 billion soums, and export US$28 million.

A key development focus of the technopark is energy efficiency: a 4 MW solar power plant is planned, expected to generate 5.6–6.4 million kWh of electricity annually, covering part of the technopark’s energy needs and reducing reliance on external grids.

Considering the success of ongoing projects, the technopark’s area is planned to expand by 20 hectares to accommodate nine new projects in the Kibray District of Tashkent Region.

The technopark is also fostering integration between education and production: together with the Tashkent Chemical-Technological Institute, it established the Advanced Engineering School “Intelligent Chemical-Technological Systems,” where graduate students study chemical technology, automation, and process engineering.
