Chinese ZTT Group Explores Investment Opportunities in Navoi Industrial Zone

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 15 December, a meeting took place at the Ministry of Investments, Industry, and Trade of Uzbekistan (MIIT) between Deputy Minister Ilzat Kasimov and a delegation from the Chinese company ZTT Group, which visited Uzbekistan on a working trip.

During the discussions, the Chinese delegation was provided with detailed information on the current investment climate in Uzbekistan, government support measures, as well as existing tax and customs incentives for foreign investors.

Special attention was given to the conditions established in Uzbekistan for the localization of industrial production and the implementation of large-scale infrastructure projects.

The opportunities offered by the Navoi Special Economic Zone (SEZ) were also presented, including its strategic location, ready engineering and communication infrastructure, conditions for placing industrial facilities, and investor support under a “single-window” principle.

Following the meeting, ZTT Group representatives expressed interest in implementing an investment project within the Navoi SEZ. The parties agreed to identify priority areas of cooperation and work out the technical and economic parameters of the potential project.
