Chinese Company Runxin to Invest US$1 Million in Leather and Footwear Production in Tashkent Region

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The “Uzcharmsanoat” Association held negotiations with representatives of the Chinese company Runxin regarding a new investment project.

During the meeting, the parties discussed in detail the planned activities and key stages of the project.

Runxin is launching an investment project worth US$1 million in the Tashkent region, which will focus on producing various granules for the leather and footwear industry. In addition, the project includes the production of seasonal footwear for both the domestic market and export, with Europe and the United States as the primary export destinations.

The implementation of the project will significantly increase production capacities, create new jobs, train local specialists, and expand the export of finished products.

Thus, Uzbekistan’s leather and footwear industry is gradually shifting from exporting raw materials to exporting finished products, strengthening its position in the international market.
