Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – On 30 April, a videoconference was held between the management of the Uztekstilprom Association and the Head of the General Representative Office of AVIC International in Eastern Europe and Central Asia, Sin Men, as well as AIPEC Vice President Wang Runlan, during which the parties discussed bilateral cooperation in training personnel for the textile industry in Uzbekistan.

The Chinese side presented the PTEO of the project for the establishment of the Textile Educational and Scientific Center in Kashkadarya region, which involves the construction, full equipping of the center and training areas in textiles, clothing design, agricultural technology and management.

Speaking about the textile industry of Uzbekistan, Wang Runlan praised the achieved results between the countries in the textile industry, and also noted the efforts of the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan to increase exports and attract investment projects in the textile industry.

According to Runlan, the Chinese project planned for implementation provides for the construction of an exemplary educational and scientific Center at the world level, which will be equipped with high-tech equipment for the training and retraining of specialists in the textile industry.

Particular attention was paid to enhancing interaction and developing cooperation within the framework of the “One Belt One Way” Program - a single platform of the PRC for interaction with international organizations, enterprises and financial institutions.
