Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - On 6 March, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to the Republic of Jiang Yan met with the First Deputy Minister for Support of the Mahalla and Family of Uzbekistan Elmira Basithanova and transferred financial assistance from the All-China Women’s Federation.

Ambassador Jiang Yan noted that the close exchange and interaction between women in China and Uzbekistan was a bright moment in bilateral humanitarian cooperation. The Chinese side is ready to continue cooperation with the Ministry to support the mahalla and the family. On the eve of the eighth of March, I would like to congratulate all women in Uzbekistan on the occasion of the holiday, and to transfer material assistance from the All-China Women’s Federation.

Basithanova expressed great gratitude for the help of the Chinese side and noted that the transferred material resources will help Uzbek women to improve professional skills and welfare.

The Ministry for the Support of the Mahalla and the Family is ready to establish close contacts and interaction with China in order to achieve great results in the development of women in Uzbekistan.
