China’s Weichai Lovol to Invest in Agricultural Machinery Production in Ferghana

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Chinese company Weichai Lovol Intelligent Agricultural Technology Co., Ltd. has expressed strong interest in investing in the production of agricultural machinery in the Ferghana region.

The announcement came during a meeting between Akmaljon Polatov, Adviser to the Hokim of Ferghana region on industrial development, and Sun Deming, Chairman of the Board of the Chinese company.

Weichai Lovol is part of Weichai Group Corporation and ranks among China’s largest manufacturers of agricultural equipment.

The company specializes in the development of high-tech, energy-efficient, and intelligent agricultural solutions, including the production of tractors, harvesters, and farming equipment, as well as digital control systems, GPS-guided machinery, and automated platforms for farms.

During the meeting at the regional administration, the sides discussed potential projects planned for implementation in Ferghana in line with the company’s profile. Akmaljon Polatov emphasized that the regional government fully supports modern investment initiatives, and both parties agreed on the next steps to advance cooperation.
