Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 17 September 2019, the Uztekstilprom Association received a delegation of the Chinese company Jinsheng Group, headed by the First Deputy Chairman, Mr. Jing How.

The meeting is dedicated to expanding the existing production of a Chinese company in Kashkadarya region.

Jinsheng Group Corporation was established in 1995 and is a group of industrial companies specializing in textile, engineering and other industries, it includes more than 70 large enterprises located in Germany, Switzerland, China and other countries (including leading German manufacturers of textile equipment “SAURER” and machine tools “EMAG”), with a total annual turnover of more than 3.0 billion dollars, with a total value of assets - 2.3 billion dollars.

In 2016-2017, invetsing US$110.0 million of foreign direct investment, the Chinese corporation created a high-tech textile complex LT Textile in Kashkadarya region.

During the talks, the Chinese side noted the effectiveness of ongoing economic reforms in Uzbekistan, which serve to create even more favorable conditions for the introduction of business in the country. In this connection, the company decided to implement 2 investment projects, including:

creation of the production of fabrics based on existing spinning capacities in Kashdarya region with the involvement of US$10.0 million of foreign direct investment.

organization of cotton-textile (cluster) production, previously in Syrdarya, Kashkadarya and Tashkent regions.

Presently, the delegation of the company is located in Uzbekistan, during the stay meetings are scheduled in interested ministries and departments.
