China’s AVIC INTL to open centers in Uzbekistan for training in the textile industry

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – On 23-27 May, a delegation of Uzbekistan consisting of representatives of the Uztekstilprom Association and the Bekzod National Institute of Art and Design participated in the “First International Conference of the Trade Union of Textile and Fashion Education” and the “International Summit of Professional Textile and Fashion Education 2019” in China.

During the conference, representatives of the Association "Uztextileprom" made a presentation and presented a video on the theme "Development of vocational education in the textile industry."

At the same time, the delegation of the Association held talks with representatives of the company “AVIC INTL”. During the meeting, the details of the Agreement on the implementation of the project for the creation of training centers in the Republic of Uzbekistan (by areas) in the textile industry were discussed.

In April 2019, the Association “Uztextileprom” hosted a meeting with the delegation of the Chinese company “AVIC INTL”. Then the Chinese side confirmed its readiness to establish partnerships with the Association "Uztekstilprom" in training of staff.

In the framework of the current meeting, the parties also agreed to organize an internship for students (up to 6 months) and teachers (up to 3 months) in specialized colleges of the PRC at the expense of the Chinese side.

During the visit, the Uzbek side studied the activities and state of the Jiangsu College of Engineering and Technology (JCET).

In addition, the Uzbek delegation held a series of negotiations with Chinese textile enterprises on the development of bilateral relations and the development of research activities in the textile sector.
