China Leads: Over 51,000 Passenger Cars Imported into Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — From January to September 2025, Uzbekistan imported 56,337 passenger cars, including electric vehicles, from 29 countries, totaling US$807.3 million, according to the National Statistics Committee.

The volume of imports increased by 1,927 units compared to the same period last year.

The leader in passenger car exports to Uzbekistan was the People’s Republic of China, with 51,770 vehicles.

South Korea ranked second with 2,524 cars, followed by the United States (511 units), Japan (296), Germany (265), Hong Kong (249), Russia (171), India (168), the UAE (98), and Austria (63).

The remaining countries supplied 222 vehicles.
