Children’s schools “Barkamol Avlod” are being formed

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A resolution of the President of Uzbekistan “On measures to radically increase the effectiveness of out-of-school education in the public education system” was adopted.

According to the resolution, on the basis of the republican and territorial children’s centers “Barkamol avlod” under the Ministry of Public Education, the Republican and territorial children’s schools “Barkamol avlod” are formed.

Also, “Children’s Libraries” are being created on the basis of information and resource centers under the Ministry of Public Education of the Republic of Karakalpakstan and regional departments of public education.

In addition, in 2020–2023, children’s tourist camps with 100–200 places at the Barkamol Avlod children’s schools will be set up in the Bukhara, Kashkadarya, Namangan, Samarkand, Khorezm regions and the city of Tashkent with a view to the systematic development of children’s tourism.

Starting from the academic year 2020/2021, the STEAM education program is being introduced in Barkamol Avlod children’s schools.

In accordance with the resolution, from January 1, 2020, the basic tariff rates for employees of Barkamol Avlod children’s schools:

- among directors and deputy directors they increase by 1.55 times, among leaders of circles - by 1.5 times;

- the remuneration of instructor-methodologists and methodologists is based on the base tariff rates with equalizing the size of their base tariff rates to the size of the base tariff rates of circle leaders.
