Children from Uzbekistan to receive free medical aid in Germany
They headed to clinics in Germany within the programme of International humanitarian organization Friedensdorf International.
Children from Jizzakh, Namangan, Navoi, Samarkand, Surkhandarya, Ferghana and Khorezm region were selected to undergo treatment in German clinics.
Soglov Avlod Uchun said that seven children, who underwent treatment in German clinics, will return to Uzbekistan on 16 February 2014.
Soglov Avlod Uchun, Ministry of Health of Uzbekistan and Friedensdorf International signed an agreement on cooperation in 2002.
Friedensdorf International has been founded in 1967 and operates in over 40 countries of the world. The fund cooperates with many European clinics to help children.
Friedensdorf International allocated grants to surgery of children with congenital maxillofacial defects (harelip, palate) and some 237 children were operated in 2013. Some 26.75 million soums were directed to these surgeries.
Within the project “Slim legs”, about 227 children at the age of up to 15 were operated to treat congenital orthopedic diseases of the lower limb (clubfoot) and a diagnosis of “wryneck” in 2013 and some 21.706 million soums were spent to these surgeries.
