Chief of Presidential Administration of Uzbekistan Holds Meetings with EU Leadership in Brussels
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 9 October, Chief of Staff of the Presidential Administration of Uzbekistan Saida Mirziyoyeva held a series of meetings with senior European Union officials in Brussels on the sidelines of the Global Gateway Forum.
She met with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, expressing her delight at the meeting and confidence in the continued strengthening of Uzbekistan–EU partnership, as she shared on her Telegram channel.
Mirziyoyeva also held talks with High Representative of the EU for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice President of the European Commission Kaja Kallas.
During the discussions, the parties exchanged views on global and regional issues, placing particular emphasis on Central Asia.
It was noted that despite the complex geopolitical situation, cooperation between the regions continues to develop steadily.
The Chief of Staff expressed gratitude to Kaja Kallas for the open and substantive dialogue and said she looks forward to further steps to strengthen the mutually beneficial partnership between Uzbekistan and the EU.
