Chevrolet Cobalt becomes popular in Russia

Automobile Chevrolet Cobalt, which is produced in Uzbekistan, became popular in Russia, PR-director of General Motors Russia Sergey Lepnuhov said on sidelines of international automobile show Mondial de Automobile 2014 in Paris.
He said that Chevrolet Cobalt is produced in Uzbekistan and its sales started in Russia in 2013. It become popular car among Russians, he said.
He said that Cobalt is representative of fast developing B sector – small, compact and comfortable car. Cobalt is successfully competing with its competitors in Russia.
He said that the car has six-step gearbox and none of its competitors have such gearbox. This makes Cobalt more close to cars of higher class.
Lepnukov told ZIV.ru that quality of cars, produced in Uzbekistan, is at the same level with the plants of General Motors in the Unites States, European or Asian states, or in Russia.
It is worth to mention that GM Uzbekistan launched serial production of automobile Chevrolet Cobalt in September 2012.
