Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In order to increase the flow of foreign tourists to Uzbekistan, charter flights organized by tour operators and air carriers to our country are subsidized based on the number of passengers on each flight. This is stated in the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 433 from 10 July 2020.
The subsidies are US$20 for charter flights from 20 February to 19 November, and for charter flights from 20 November to 19 February - US$50 per passenger.
To receive a subsidy, the following conditions are established:
organization of a charter flight in both directions for foreign citizens or stateless persons (to and from Uzbekistan);
stay for at least five days in accommodation facilities for passengers arriving on a charter flight to Uzbekistan;
providing full information about charter flights and passengers to the country's airports.
A copy of the passenger manifesto must be attached to the application. Appeals will be made for charter flights operating in the last quarter with the end of each quarter.
The Committee will ensure the distribution of grants from the quarter to the next 20th of the month, considering applications received at the end of each quarter.
If additional time is required for consideration of the application, the period for its consideration and study may be extended for another 10 days.
