Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan is implementing the project “Training of handicraftsmen with disabilities, members of the Hunarmand Craftsmen Association, modern methods of promoting products on electronic trading platforms and social networks.”

Project objectives are improving the socio-economic situation of people with disabilities, members of the Hunarmand Association through the development and implementation of a special training program to promote their products in the market of the Republic of Uzbekistan and abroad; creating conditions for the integration of people with disabilities in society, opening their own enterprises, finding business partners and realizing socio-economic rights through the training of 200 volunteer trainers who have undergone training in understanding disability, realizing the importance of taking into account the individual needs of people with disabilities in their daily activities.

The result of the project will be the training of 200 volunteer trainers on understanding disability from among the staff of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Hunarmand Association, who, in the future, will take into account the special needs of people with disabilities when organizing events held on a monthly basis: exhibitions, business forums, meetings with business representatives. foreign countries, internships for entrepreneurs, etc. That is, thanks to volunteer trainers, the public will be informed about the need to create conditions for the inclusion of people with disabilities in all areas.

Members of the Hunarmand Association from among people with disabilities will be trained on specially designed trainings that will help them master the skills of promoting their products not only in the Uzbek market, but also abroad.

Taking into account the fact that the training will take place in the format of webinars, which will be recorded and posted on the network, the sustainability of the project will be ensured by the users’ access to the training materials at the end of the project.

Trained volunteer trainers will independently conduct trainings for their colleagues, spreading knowledge about the need to address the problems of people with disabilities and ensure equality. The project will also result in the removal of socio-economic tension in society by improving the economic condition of people with disabilities.

To date, business coach Alisher Rustamov has conducted 6 webinars on the topics: "Promotion and formation of a personal brand", "Basics of trade", "What you need to know before starting a business", "Basics of business development", "Business skills in entrepreneurship "," Basics of working with objections and disputes. " More than 700 entrepreneurs and artisans from 80 cities of the republic took part in the webinars. Participants received information on methods of promoting a brand to local and global markets through social networks, the basics of personal branding, basic communication skills in sales and such concepts as SWOT analysis, SMART tasks, cross-selling, and the basics of organizing a personal brand.
