Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - Within the framework of the visit of the Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan Adkham Ikramov to the city of Ahmedabad (India), a meeting was held with the Chief Minister of Gujarat V. Rupani.

During his speech, V. Rupani expressed his most sincere wishes and feelings of respect to the President of Uzbekistan Sh.M. Mirziyoyev.

“I am observing with great interest the ongoing progressive changes in Uzbekistan and highly appreciate the initiative of President Sh. Mirziyoyev to declare 2020 the Year of Science, Education and the Digital Economy in Uzbekistan. For my part, I will urge Gujarat's IT companies to participate in projects in Uzbekistan in the field of IT,” V.Rupani noted

He also said that a representative delegation led by one of the ministers of Gujarat will take part in the Tashkent Investment Forum.

The head of the CCI of Uzbekistan A. Ikramov, in turn, expressed confidence in the further development and strengthening of cooperation between the two countries.
