Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - In the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, training workshops began with the participation of the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, deputy khokims of regions and the city of Tashkent, as well as khokims of districts and cities. This was reported by the Senate Information Service of the Oliy Majlis.

Advisor to the President Sh. Kudbiev, Chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan T. Narbayev, Speaker of the Legislative Chamber N. Ismailov and Vice-Rector of the Academy of Public Administration H. Azizov took part in the opening ceremony.

Chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan Tanzila Narbaeva also made reports on the essence and significance of the Message of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev Oliy Majlis of 24 January 2020, further enhancing the role of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis in deepening democratic reforms and modernizing the country, as well as reforming the system of local government bodies.

During 10 day classes, 320 students will increase the level of knowledge and skills based on the Action Strategy in five priority areas of development of the Republic of Uzbekistan. It is planned to hear reports and speeches of leading experts from among the heads of ministries, departments and organizations of each industry of our country, more than 90 speakers in total within 40 topics and over 100 areas.

During their studies, participants will closely familiarize themselves with the analysis of the main socio-economic indicators of our republic in the context of regions and based on the experience of advanced foreign countries with existing problems, as well as data on their practical solution, the processes of socio-economic development carried out in the capital and regions.
