Chair of the 43rd Session of the UNESCO General Conference Arrives in Uzbekistan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Bangladesh’s Permanent Representative to UNESCO, Hondker Mohammad Talha, who serves as Chair of the 43rd session of the UNESCO General Conference, has arrived in Uzbekistan on an official visit.
The visit coincides with the 14th UNESCO Youth Forum, scheduled for October 27–28, 2025, in historic Samarkand.
This major international forum, organized in cooperation with UNESCO and the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan, will bring together young leaders, activists, and researchers from around the world.
The theme of this year’s forum is “Climate Action and Its Social Impact, Especially on Youth.”
The event aims to promote active participation of young people in addressing climate-related challenges, support the advancement of their ideas and initiatives on the international stage, and collaboratively shape a sustainable future.
