Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The terms of office for the Chairmen of the Board of Uzbekistan Airways JSC, Shuhrat Shavkatovich Khudaykulov, and Uzavtosanoat JSC, Ulugbek Ubaydullaevich Rozukulov, have been extended. This is confirmed by data from the Unified Portal of Corporate Information.

At the end of March, Ulugbek Rozukulov was reconfirmed as the head of Uzavtosanoat for a three-year term. Simultaneously, the powers of his deputies—Davron Khidoyatov, Bakhodir Rakhmonov, Diyor Mukhamedov, and Farkhod Turaev—were extended for one year.

Ulugbek Rozukulov, a Doctor of Economic Sciences and a graduate of Moscow State University, has led the automotive sector since March 2023. His professional career began in 1996 at the National Bank, followed by roles in the Ministry of Finance and the Cabinet of Ministers. Between 2008 and 2017, he combined his leadership of Uzavtosanoat with the position of Deputy Prime Minister. He later held various government posts, including the leadership of the national airline and diplomatic service in Southeast Asia.

Shuhrat Khudaykulov, who has headed Uzbekistan Airways since March 2023, was also re-elected for a new three-year term. A graduate of the Civil Aviation University in St. Petersburg, he began his career at Tashkent Airport, rising from a service specialist to senior management. He previously worked in the airline's foreign representative offices and held leadership positions in the commercial sector. In 2024, he was honored with the "Shuhrat" state award.
