CEO of Uzbek companies are confident in revenue growth
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The growth of competition in the market can destabilize the business in the next five years. This is the opinion of 60% of the heads of enterprises of Uzbekistan, who took part in the global survey of CEOs of the world’s largest companies CEO Survey.
The survey of CEO Survey was conducted by the audit company PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC). Heads of 30 companies and organizations of Uzbekistan took part in the survey.
At the same time, 97% of the respondents were men and 51% were young businessmen at the age between 24 and 34.
The PwC survey showed that 87% of Uzbek executives are confident that in the coming years their companies’ revenues will grow.
About 70% of CEOs expressed confidence in accelerating economic growth and 73% said they intend to increase the number of employees. At the same time, 60% of respondents note shortage of skilled personnel.
The most important countries in terms of business growth prospects for the companies from Uzbekistan are Russia (67%), Kazakhstan (43%), China (37%), Turkey (30%) and South Korea (23%).
