Centrum Air to Launch New Direct Flights from Tashkent to Hyderabad Starting Spring 2026
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan’s largest private airline, Centrum Air, has announced an expansion of its routes to India with the start of the 2026 summer season, according to Dunyo news agency.
Starting from 30 March 2026, the carrier will operate regular direct flights on the Tashkent–Hyderabad route, with two weekly services using Airbus A320 aircraft.
In addition, from 29 March, the weekly number of flights on the Tashkent–Delhi route will be increased to three.
In recent years, air connectivity between Uzbekistan and India has intensified significantly. Currently, Tashkent is linked with Delhi, Mumbai, and the state of Goa through 17 flights per week, operated by Uzbekistan Airways, Centrum Air, and India’s IndiGo.
The increase in flight frequency and the opening of new routes aim to further develop trade, economic, investment, academic, educational, and cultural-humanitarian ties between the two countries.
Tourism has also shown steady growth. In 2025, more than 80,000 Indian tourists visited Uzbekistan, and the launch of new flights in 2026 is expected to significantly boost the number of travelers from India, taking tourist exchanges to a whole new level.
