Centrum Air Launches Direct Flights from St. Petersburg to Tashkent
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The airline Centrum Air has launched a direct flight connection between St. Petersburg and Tashkent.
According to the press service of Pulkovo Airport, managed by Northern Capital Gateway, this route has become the fifth direct air connection between Russia’s northern capital and Uzbekistan.
Previously, flights from Pulkovo were already operated to Termez, Urgench, Samarkand, and Namangan. Flights to Tashkent will run three times a week — on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
During the first nine months of 2025, nearly 1,500 flights to Uzbekistan were operated from Pulkovo by seven different airlines.
According to the Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR), from January to August 2025, Uzbekistan ranked among the top three most visited destinations by Russian citizens, behind only Türkiye and Thailand.
