Centrum Air Launches Direct Flights Between Delhi and Tashkent

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbek airline Centrum Air has announced the launch of regular direct flights on the Delhi–Tashkent route, scheduled to begin on 2 October 2025.

Initially, flights will operate twice a week, on Tuesdays and Fridays. The service aims to strengthen air connectivity between India and Uzbekistan, offering passengers affordable fares, convenient schedules, and comfortable travel conditions.

All flights will be operated using Centrum Air’s modern aircraft, ensuring safety and a high level of service for both tourists and business travelers.

The airline’s fleet includes Airbus A320, A320neo, A321neo, and the wide-body A330-300. Centrum Air plans to expand its fleet in the near future, reaching 14 aircraft by the end of 2025 and 22 by 2026.

“We are proud to launch direct air service between Delhi and Tashkent. This route not only provides convenience for travelers but also strengthens Uzbekistan’s role as a regional hub connecting India with Central Asia, Europe, and the Middle East,” said Abdulaziz Abdurakhmanov, founder and CEO of the airline.

In addition to direct flights, passengers from Delhi will have convenient connections through Tashkent to destinations such as Almaty, Moscow, Novosibirsk, Istanbul, Dubai, Tel Aviv, and Copenhagen, further reinforcing the Uzbek capital’s position as a transportation hub in Central Asia.

In recent years, Uzbekistan has actively developed its tourism sector, attracting visitors with its rich Silk Road heritage, UNESCO World Heritage cities including Samarkand, Bukhara, and Khiva, and expanding business and investment opportunities.

Thanks to the government’s prioritization of tourism and regional connectivity, the country is becoming one of the key transport and tourist gateways between Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.
