Central Depository of Armenia Registered in Uzbekistan’s “Regulatory Sandbox”
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The National Agency for Advanced Projects of the Republic of Uzbekistan has registered CJSC “Central Depository of Armenia” as a participant in the special legal regime, the “Regulatory Sandbox,” on the capital market.
The inclusion of foreign participants in the “Regulatory Sandbox” aims to introduce advanced international practices in the securities sector, simplify foreign investors’ access to the Uzbek capital market, and develop legal mechanisms for implementing new forms and methods of investment attraction in the country.
CJSC “Central Depository of Armenia” operates the Unified System for Securities Accounting and Settlement in Armenia. Its activities are certified according to international standards ISO 9001:2015 and ISO/IEC 27001:2013, and its credit rating is assessed at BBB by Thomas Murray (UK).
Additionally, the CDA is a member of the Association of National Numbering Agencies (ANNA) and the Association of Eurasian Central Securities Depositories (AECSD), reflecting a high level of corporate and operational governance.
