Central Bank of Uzbekistan keeps refinancing rate at 12% APR

The bank said the Board of the Central Bank adopted a corresponding resolution on 13 August 2011 in line with the Law “On Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan”.

The bank underlined that the refinancing rate of the Central Bank was not changed due to main monetary policy for 2011, as well as actual and expected inflation rate, the regulator said.

As earlier reported, Central Bank of Uzbekistan adopted decision on decreasing refinancing rate by 2 percentage points from 14% to 12% APR on 25 December 2010.
