Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — In 2025, the structure of P2P transfers (card-to-card) in Uzbekistan showed a predominance of small transactions, primarily used for everyday payments and mutual settlements, the Central Bank of Uzbekistan said.
According to the regulator's analysis, 71.5% of all transactions were transfers of up to 10 million soums.
Of these, nearly half—46.1%—were for amounts up to 1 million soums, 16.8% ranged from 1 to 5 million soums, and 8.6% fell between 5 and 10 million soums.
Transfers of larger sums occurred far less frequently. Transactions ranging from 10 to 50 million soums accounted for 18.3% of all operations, 50 to 100 million soums for 5.4%, 100 to 200 million soums for 3.2%, 200 to 500 million soums for 1.4%, while transfers exceeding 500 million soums were recorded in just 0.2% of cases.
