Central Bank of Uzbekistan hold deposit auction
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan held a deposit auction on 12 December.
According to the Central Bank, the regulator raised 449 billion soums from seven commercial banks.
Of the above amount, 346 billion were placed for 2 weeks at a rate of 16%, and 103 billion soums - for 1 month at a rate of 17%.
