Central Asian Foreign Ministers Meet with U.S. Secretary of State
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan’s Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov participated in a meeting of Central Asian foreign ministers with U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio, held ahead of the upcoming anniversary C5+1 summit.
The discussion focused on prospects for expanding strategic partnership and bilateral cooperation, including strengthening trade and investment ties. Particular attention was given to collaboration within the C5+1 format, which over the past decade has become an effective platform for building trust, mutual understanding, and regional prosperity.
The participants also addressed preparations for upcoming meetings of heads of state, both bilaterally and within the broader Central Asia–U.S. multilateral dialogue.
The U.S. side reaffirmed its readiness to support deepening partnerships and jointly implementing initiatives aimed at sustainable regional development.
