Central Asian Economic Forum to be held in Tashkent

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The First Central Asian Economic Forum (CAEF) will be held on 15 March with the participation of deputy prime ministers of the countries of Central Asia - the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Republic of Tajikistan, the Republic of Turkmenistan, the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Kyrgyz Republic.

The agenda of the economic forum includes the discussion of expanding investment cooperation, stimulating regional trade, increasing tourism attractiveness, increasing transport and transit potential.

Also within the framework of the event thematic sessions will be organized in such areas as investment, financial and technological cooperation, development of transport infrastructure, innovation.

More than 200 participants representing international organizations and heads of local authorities, representatives of business circles, the expert-analytical community of the Central Asian region, as well as potential foreign investors will take part in CAAEF.

According to the CAEF program, an exhibition of commodity-producing countries will be organized at the National Exhibition Hall of the Uzexpocenter.
