Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan hosted a meeting between the Deputy Chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan Svetlana Artikova and a `delegation of entrepreneurs led by the President of the Women’s Organization of the Federation of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of India “FICCI Ladies Organization” Harzhinder Kaur Talwar, reports Information Service of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis.

During the meeting, an exchange of views on the development of women’s entrepreneurship took place.

The ways of development of women’s entrepreneurship in the areas of information technology, textile industry, design, pharmaceuticals, tourism, and public services in Uzbekistan and India were discussed.

Members of the delegation expressed their readiness to attract investment in Uzbekistan in order to develop women’s entrepreneurship.
