Catering and entertainment facilities allowed to work at night
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A government resolution was adopted on additional measures to ensure public safety at catering establishments and entertainment facilities operating at night.
In accordance with the resolution, from 15 October 2019, catering and entertainment facilities can operate around the clock, subject to the following requirements:
- the presence of a video surveillance system inside the specified facilities, including office space, entrances and exits, with the ability to store images for at least thirty days;
- sufficient (not less than 10 meters) coverage of the territory adjacent to the building, car park and other relevant territory;
- observance of requirements of norms of noise in the room or not use of music and sound-amplifying devices at night;
- provision of fire extinguishing equipment and first-aid kits;
- availability of information on the evacuation scheme in visible places for all, as well as telephone numbers of emergency and rescue services.
The head of the specified objects will submit to the territorial bodies of internal affairs information on the fulfillment of these requirements.
Activities at night without complying with the above requirements are prohibited and entail responsibility in the prescribed manner.
Within the framework of the requirements, the intervention of law enforcement agencies in the activities of facilities operating at night is prohibited.
The right to operate at night can be canceled by the relevant khokimiyats if these objects violate the requirements of the resolution or receive regular complaints from the public.
On routes where such objects are located, operating at night, constant control is established by the patrol groups.
This decision comes into force three months from the date of its official publication.
