Caserta and Shakhrisabz sign Memorandum of Cooperation

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 26-30 September, Kashkadarya’s Shakhrisabz hosted Anor International Agro Tourism Festival. The event began with the signing of a Memorandum on strengthening cooperation in tourism between the Italian city of Caserta and Shakhrisabz.

 “This event is only the beginning of our partnership. In the future, cooperation with Caserta in tourism will be strengthened. We also intend to sign agreements with other Italian cities”, said Otabek Olimjonov, Head of the Department for Tourism Development of Kashkadarya region.

In 1992, Uzbekistan and Italy signed a protocol on establishing diplomatic relations. During the visit of Uzbekistan delegation to the Italian city of Caserta, an agreement was reached on cooperation and strengthening friendly relations with the city municipality this year.
