Cargo Truck Completely Burns Near Metro Station in Tashkent

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — In the night of January 4, a fire broke out near a metro station in Tashkent, completely destroying a Labo cargo truck, the city’s Emergency Management Department reported.

According to the agency, the fire started at 22:05 on Mirzo Tursunzoda Street in the Yangihayot district, near the Yangihayot metro station.

Fire and rescue units arrived at the scene at 22:13 and extinguished the blaze promptly by 22:14.

No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire and the extent of the material damage are currently being investigated.
