Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 30 July, Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan Dilshod Rasulov held a meeting with a delegation from China’s largest international exhibition — the Canton Fair.

The Canton Fair, held twice a year in Guangzhou since 1957, is considered one of the world’s most prestigious trade platforms. It brings together over 25,000 companies, covers more than 50 industries, and attracts participants from more than 200 countries and regions.

Liu Xiaomin, Director General for Exhibition and Fair Activities of the China Foreign Trade Center, gave a presentation highlighting new opportunities for Uzbek entrepreneurs. The discussion focused on participation in the fair, expanding access to new markets, and establishing direct contacts with Chinese partners.

As a result of the talks, both sides agreed to boost the participation of Uzbek businesses in the Canton Fair, as well as to organize joint business forums and B2B meetings.
