CAITME 2018 and UzTextile Expo 2018 starts in Tashkent
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The 12th Central Asian International Exhibition for Textile Equipment and Technologies - CAITME 2018 opens its doors on September 5, 2018 in Tashkent. The exhibition is organized by Iteca Exhibitions International Exhibition Company.
In parallel with CAITME 2018, the 1st International Exhibition of Textile and Fashion Industry - UzTextile Expo 2018 will be held. The organizers remind that on April 27, 2018, a Memorandum was signed between the Agency for Advertising and Marketing of Textile Products under Uztekstilprom Association and Iteca Exhibitions International Exhibition Company in order to bond the 15-year experience of the International Exhibition Textile Expo Uzbekistan and International Textile Fair and create a new exhibition project UzTextile Expo.
This year, for the first time, the professionals of textile and light industry will enjoy the maximum effect of that synergy at the single exhibition space provided by UzTextile Expo and CAITME. This will enable participants and visitors of the exhibitions to appreciate benefits of this unity, where a full cycle of textile production and technologies from yarn to ready-made garments will be presented.
The exhibitions will be held in the capital of Uzbekistan, from 5 to 7 September, and will occupy the entire exhibition area of Uzexpocentre.
The exhibition will demonstrate the best technological developments and textile and sewing equipment manufacture allowing to improve quality and competitiveness of domestic products through revamping and modernization of production lines.
This year’s exhibition is impressive by its scope. CAITME will occupy four pavilions of Uzexpocentre.
CAITME creates a new record by representing 372 companies and brands from 21 countries: Austria, Belgium, Great Britain, Hungary, Germany, India, Spain, Italy, Kazakhstan, China, the Netherlands, the Republic of Korea, Russia, the USA, Turkey, Uzbekistan, France, Czech Republic, Sweden, Switzerland, and Japan. A ratio of foreign and local exhibitors is 85% to 15%, respectively. As compared to previous year, the exhibition area has grown by 24%.
Altogether, 103 companies from 8 countries will take part in the UzTextile Expo 2018, including: Belarus, India, China, Latvia, Tajikistan, Turkey, Uzbekistan, and Switzerland.
Every year, a composition of international participants increases proportionally to the interest of foreign machinery and equipment manufacturers in this sector, in Uzbekistan.
The top five countries in terms of their number of exhibitors include: Turkey - 81; China - 66; Germany - 52; Italy - 32; India – 25 companies. A wide exposition will traditionally be presented by the National Pavilion of Germany, organized under assistance of the Federal Ministry of Economics and Energy, and supported by the Association of the Machine-Building Industry of Germany.
A bright debut participation is promised by more than 20% of the companies. The National Stand of Spain organized by the AMEC AMTEX Association debuts for the first time in the history of the exhibition. Its participants include: Galan Textile Machinery (production of twisting and winding equipment for all kinds of natural and synthetic fibres), Canmartex (standard and individually designed knitting machines), Gomplast (coating rollers with rubber and polyurethane), Icomatex (continuous washing / bleaching machines and dryers), Rius (electronic cutting systems, braiding machines), Pinter Caipo (applications for production of fancy yarn and fibres with added value, online quality detectors and online monitoring systems).
Also, the exhibition will present a great number of other debutants: Erbatech (Germany) - finishing and drying equipment; Pleva (Germany) - laboratory, control and measuring equipment; MHMS Mechatronic Solutions (Austria) - printing machines; Budapest Waterworks (Hungary) - water treatment and filtration systems; Cesa Isimak Klima End. (Turkey) - air conditioning and ventilation systems; Alfa Kimya and Mavi Color Kimya (Turkey), Jay Chemicals (India) - textile chemicals, VAV Technology (Germany/Turkey) - finishing technologies for denim fabric and many more.
Demonstration of the whole range of equipment and technologies for the textile and clothing industry from yarn to packaging of ready-made sewing and knitting products, which will be demonstrated in operation, is a distinctive feature of the exhibition. Most of the companies will demonstrate machines and equipment in active mode and conduct master classes at their stands for industry experts.
The business program scheduled a round of B2B, B2G meetings, fashion shows and industrial collections. Based on the results of the meetings, a number of Memorandums of Understanding and other promising documents would be signed between the management of the UzTextilProm Association and key participants of CAITME 2018 thus making their significant contribution to further technological revamping and development of the domestic textile and clothing industry.
