Businesses of Uzbekistan, Russia hold talks

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 18 October 2018, an exchange of contacts between representatives of the business circles of Russia and Uzbekistan took place within the First Forum of Interregional Cooperation between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The purpose of the event is further expansion of trade, economic and investment cooperation between the business circles of two countries, discussion of the possibilities of organizing mutual supplies of marketable products to Russia and Uzbekistan, as well as the joint implementation of promising investment projects in various sectors of the economy.

Within the framework of the events, the delegation of business circles also took part at the head of the leaders of 17 regions of the Russian Federation, who are interested in establishing close cooperation with the regions of Uzbekistan and expanding business ties with domestic entrepreneurs.

More than 110 representatives of Russian companies in such industries as: engineering, electrical engineering, construction, building materials, oil and gas, chemical, mining and energy, metallurgy, information and communication technologies and communications, agriculture, food, textile , medicine, and also a services sector attended the event.

Representatives of business associations, associations, concerns, holdings, joint - stock companies, as well as small and private entrepreneurship of the Republic of Uzbekistan, in total more than 500 people, also participated at the event.

At the same time, special attention is paid to the possibilities of implementing joint projects, organizing industrial cooperation between Russian and Uzbek enterprises in various sectors of the economy, as well as expanding business ties and establishing cooperation in promising areas of business between entrepreneurs from Russia and Uzbekistan.

At the same time, such business platforms regularly held in Russia and Uzbekistan are designed to create an atmosphere of mutual trust, strengthen business contacts, and also provide an opportunity to find new areas of joint cooperation for entrepreneurs of two countries.
