“Despite the commitment of Uzbekistan’s leadership on improving business environment, facts of inadequate actions of authorities, including violation of established procedures, requesting excessive documents, forced labor use, forced sponsorship still exist,” the portal said.
The portal said now, in such situations, entrepreneurs and representatives of businesses can submit an online complaint to judicial authorities right from their office. Centralized monitoring and control over timely complaint consideration is organized.
Moreover, entrepreneurs are able to assess the quality of complaints consideration and leave comments, contributing to further improvement of performance of government agencies involved in consideration of complaints, and respond appropriately to ensure thorough and timely consideration of complaints.
The complaints can also be submitted via the Single portal’s Call center.
Service is provided pursuant to the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated 15 April 2014 No. PP-2164 “On measures to further improve procedures related to business activities and provision of state services”.
“We would also like to remind that there are several services tailored for entrepreneurs and businesses currently offered on the Single portal already specifically, business registration, submitting appeals to the Prime Minister, authorization on the Single portal using digital signature issued by the State Tax Committee, submitting applications for bank loans and others,” the portal noted.
