Business woman: my contribution to independence

Great importance is attached to ensuring the active participation of enterprising women in the development of small business and private entrepreneurship.

To achieve this goal, at the Tashkent State Agrarian University was held a contest “Business Woman – 2016” under the motto “My contribution to independence” embodying the main idea of “My life, my destiny - my dear, unique Uzbekistan!” which organized by Tashkent regional council of UzLiDeP dedicated to the 25th anniversary of independence of our country.

At the beginning of the event participants at the exhibition showed their products and handicrafts, especially national costumes.

As part of the event the conference took place, where participants exchanged views on the formation of women entrepreneurial skills, involvement of them in small businesses and family businesses, handicrafts, homework, promote their legal knowledge.

About 48 entrepreneurs, artisans and farmers selected at district and town stages displayed their knowledge and ability on such requirements as the creation of new jobs through setting up industrial production, the provision of services for the population, the production of export-oriented goods and active participation in the party’s events.

— Today it is impossible to imagine the social and economic development of our country without the small business and private entrepreneurship,- said the head of the family business " Yangiobod kelajak sari", the winner of the regional stage O. Urolova. — After graduating from college, I took a soft loan and established hotel business where ten of my peers are working with me. This contest helped me to meet other women entrepreneurs, to share experiences and to discuss our problems. I think this contest will help to expand the ranks of women entrepreneurs.

During the contest, the winners of the nominations “Portrait of a modern woman-entrepreneur”, “Generous woman entrepreneur of the year”, “Initiative Women”, “Women farmers who develop rural infrastructure”, “Business Woman who create more jobs for graduates” were announced.

At the end of the event, the winners and participants received diplomas and valuable gifts from the party and the partner organizations.
