Business circles of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan sign agreements for US$1.2bn

Business circles of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan signed agreements worth US$ 1.2 billion during business forum in Tashkent, the press service of State Committee for Investments of Uzbekistan told UzDaily.
On 16 September 2017, the Uzbek-Kazakh business forum was held in Tashkent dedicated to further development of trade, economic and investment cooperation between two largest countries of Central Asia.
The main goal of the event was to establish and strengthen cooperation ties between companies of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan at qualitatively new level, as well as create joint ventures and implement joint investment projects.
The business forum was organized within the framework of the state visit of the President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev to Uzbekistan.
