Bus from Perm to Tashkent Overturns in Kazakhstan: Two Uzbek Citizens Killed

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 7 December 2025 at 08:57, a serious road accident occurred on the 1,028th kilometer of a republican highway in Ayteke Bi District, Aktobe Region, Kazakhstan.

A Yutong passenger bus traveling the route “Perm – Tashkent” veered off the road and overturned into a ditch.

According to preliminary information, there were 49 passengers on board at the time of the accident. The crash claimed five lives, including two citizens of Uzbekistan.

The Uzbek Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES), in coordination with relevant authorities, formed a working group to organize the repatriation of the victims’ bodies, provide full support to their families, and assist with funeral arrangements.

Uzbek MES officials remain in constant contact with their Kazakh counterparts, jointly carrying out activities to determine the cause of the accident, clarify information about the injured, and coordinate all necessary procedures.

The investigation into the circumstances of the crash is ongoing.
