Bus Fire in Tashkent’s Sergeli District Leaves No Injuries

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) —A passenger bus caught fire on the evening of 6 April in the Sergeli district of Tashkent while traveling along Yangi Sergeli Street.

Emergency services received the alert at 18:45, and firefighting units arrived at the scene within six minutes. The blaze was swiftly contained and fully extinguished by 18:55 due to coordinated response efforts.

All passengers were safely evacuated, and no injuries were reported.

Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the fire and assessing material damage. Traffic along Yangi Sergeli Street has since been restored and is operating as normal.
