Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The President signed the Law “On Amendments and Additions to Some Legislative Acts of the Republic of Uzbekistan”.

The law amended more than 10 legislative acts.

In particular, the list of activities for which licenses are required is supplemented by the following 2 activities:

- Activities of the operator of payment systems;

- Activities of payment organizations.

Also, the Law "On Waste" is supplemented by an article providing for recycling.

According to this, in order to ensure environmental safety, protect the health of citizens and the environment from the harmful effects of waste generated by vehicles, a disposal fee is paid.

In addition, according to the amendment to the Law on Burial and Funeral, the allowance for the burial of a deceased person will now be issued at the expense of the State budget.

Previously, this allowance was issued through an extrabudgetary Pension Fund under the Ministry of Finance.

This Law shall enter into force on the day of its official publication.

The part of the Law relating to licensing of the activities of the payment system operator and the activities of payment systems shall be enforced from the date of entry into force of the Law “On Payments and Payment Systems”.

The provisions of the Law providing for the disposal fee shall be enforced three months from the date of the official publication of this Law.
