Bureau of Forced Execution collect 5.4 trln. soums of debts for electricity and gas
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Bureau of Forced Execution under the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Uzbekistan collected 5.4 trillion soums of debts for electricity and gas in June-September 2017. It was announced at the meeting dedicated to issues of uninterrupted provision of the population, industrial and social facilities with natural gas, electricity, elimination of debts for their consumption, and practical measures that are taken in this direction. The meeting was chaired by the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

It was said that the Bureau of Forced Execution collected 3.4 trillion soums of debt for electricity and 2 trillion soums for natural gas.

There are many problems in the sphere that are awaiting solution. Their reason is the lack of initiative in issues of introduction of new methods of work in the system of “Uzbekenergo” and “Uztransgaz”, weak control and management, the allowed theft facts.

Shavkat Mirziyoyev noted that taking into account the negative influence of negligence and outdated approaches of the heads of some spheres to preparation and conduction of autumn/winter season for the development of the country’s economy and the growth of the well-being of the population, it is necessary to take appropriate measures in time on eradicating such cases and introduce new methods of organizing activities.

At the meeting, which was held in the spirit of critical analysis, issues related to the activities of the Bureau of Forced Execution, collection of debts, disclosure of offenses, ensuring the execution of judicial acts, organizational and legal measures were considered.

Uzbek President gave instructions on further improvement of activities of the Bureau of Forced Execution, broad introduction of modern information and communication technologies, expansion of interaction with officials of the industry and makhalla activists.
