Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – The Government adopted a resolution “On measures to support the organization of private notarial activities”.

In accordance with the resolution, the transfer to the private notaries of the lease of buildings attached to the territorial bodies of justice and used by state notaries, as well as the sale of office equipment will be carried out between the territorial bodies of justice and notaries in the manner prescribed by law.

Public notaries wishing to engage in private practice, on issues of the rental of buildings and structures will have an advantage over private notaries.

In the case of a written refusal to rent a building and construction by a state notary or if he does not use his preemptive right for 2 months, these buildings and structures will be leased to private notaries operating in a building not assigned to the territorial justice authorities.

Inventory assigned to a notary public notary public will be sold at book value to notaries engaged in private practice, who have expressed a desire to purchase them.

In cases where buildings and structures will not be rented by private notaries, state notaries can be placed in them, used by territorial justice authorities or leased.
