British Petroleum is interested in projects in the oil and gas industry

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- British Petroleum (BP), together with Uzbekneftegaz, is exploring promising hydrocarbon fields on the Ustyurt plateau. This was stated by the chief operating officer of BP, Gordon Birell.

He noted that preliminary data show signs of commercially attractive reserves in one of the fields. In addition, the company is interested in exploring other fields in Uzbekistan in order to determine the possibility of organizing gas production in industrial volumes.

BP intends to participate in projects for the deep processing of hydrocarbons, he added.

The company’s delegation plans to participate in the conference and exhibition “Oil and Gas Uzbekistan-2019” and discuss the above projects.
