Brazil advances to World Cup quarter-finals

Brazil advanced to the quarterfinals of the 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil, defeating Chile on penalties.
The full time and extra times ended with a 1-1 draw. David Luiz opened score for Brazil after corner kick. But Alexis Sanchez cancelled out opener on 32 minutes.
During the penalty shoot-outs Julio Cesar saved from Mauricio Pinilla and Alexis Sanchez whilst Willian and Hulk did likewise for Brazil.
But with the shoot-out set for sudden death, Jara’s miss means that Brazil qualify for the World Cup quarter-finals for the sixth consecutive time.
