Branch of Higher School of Management of Information Systems of Latvia to be opened in Ferghana
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A branch of the Higher School of Management of Information Systems of Latvia (ISMA) will be opened in Ferghana. This was stated by Deputy Prime Minister Aziz Abdukhakimov.
According to him, on 26 September, the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a decree on establishment of a branch of the Riga-based University.
The branch will become a separate subdivision of the Higher School with predominantly English language of instruction on a paid basis.
The branch will train cadres for tourism industry of Uzbekistan and conduct research in the field of tourism and hotel industry and other areas.
Curricula and programs will be approved by the Higher School of Management of Information Systems of Latvia.
Graduates of the branch will receive ISMA diploma. The diploma of the branch will be recognized as the document on higher education in Uzbekistan.
