Book about reforms of the President of Uzbekistan published in Hindi

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A book “Uzbekistan: Rapid reforms.” was published in India in Hindi language on the eve of the State visit of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to India.

The book was prepared in the framework of cooperation between the Embassy of Uzbekistan in India and the largest Indian University Jamia Millia. Translation into Hindi was carried out by the professor of the given university, the head of the department of the Uzbek language Shahid Taslim.

The basis of the book’s materials is the publication of the Center for Development Strategy in Uzbekistan "Rapid Reforms", which includes a report on the main directions of reforms in the country, infographics, analysis and industry reviews.

According to Professor Taslim, in India, there is a growing interest in the transformations taking place in Uzbekistan. “Observing the dynamics of reforms in Uzbekistan, I am deeply impressed by the innovative policy of President Mirziyoyev, the reforms initiated by him and the opportunities for international cooperation opening in connection with these opportunities,” Shahid Taslim said.

“That is why I really wanted to contribute to further expand this topic for the Indian public and promote the rapprochement of friendship and cooperation between the two peoples. We have been working on translating and preparing the book for printing for several months and are very pleased that it comes out just on the eve of the historic visit of the President of Uzbekistan to India,” he said.

The book consists of more than 100 pages of analysis and review of the essence of the reforms taking place in modern Uzbekistan.
