Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The body of a missing boy was discovered in the Urtachirchik district of Tashkent region, the press service of the Prosecutor General’s Office reported.

According to the agency, on 17 August, a 23-year-old woman filed a report about the disappearance of her four-year-old son, M.B., who left home on 16 August and did not return.

Specialized agencies and an investigative task force arrived at the scene. On 18 August, the child’s body was found in an irrigation ditch in the Yangiturmush mahalla. Experts found no signs of violence on the body.

The district prosecutor’s office is conducting a preliminary investigation.
