Bodies of victims of road accident in Russia delivered to Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The bodies of five citizens of Uzbekistan, who were killed in a road accident in Lipetsk region of Russia, were delivered to Uzbekistan on 9 September, the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Uzbekistan said.

According to the department, the bodies of the deceased were delivered in Uzbekistan by the flight of Uzbekistan Havo Yollari (Uzbekistan Airways) on the route “Moscow-Urgench” and handed over to relatives for burial.

The incident occurred at 20:30 on 6 September 2018 on the road P-126 Lipetsk-Chaplygin in Dobrovsky district.

As a result of violation of traffic rules, there was a collision of a Toyota RAV 4 passenger car with a VAZ 2106 passenger car.

At the scene of the incident, 5 citizens of Uzbekistan died. One Russian citizen was injured and hospitalized.
